This exhibition shows us many faces of the Quartier Saint-Jacques. On the one hand, we have the way the photos are displayed in the exhibiton. The photos of places and photos of people are in separated groups and are facing each other, or by the side of each other. On the other hand, we have what the photos show and what they are telling us. Bertrand Meunier wanted to highlight the feeling of emptiness of the Quartier Saint-Jacques. He also worked on the perspectives in his photos. This exhibition makes us think of how we see this kind of district and makes us change our minds about the prejudices against the people living there.
